Programme Name: Diploma in Pharmacy (D. PHARM)
Programme Objectives: A programme specifically designed to create professionals who will make a mark in the pharmaceutical industry. On completion of the programme the students can get registration as pharmacist and can run their own retail & wholesale medical as well as manufacturing and packaging unit.
Programme Duration: The course duration is of 2 years with minimum of 180 working days per year followed by a practical training not less than 500 hours covered in around 3 months.
This Institute is dedicated towards the qualitative development of Pharmacy education through variety of activities like faculty development, organizing guest lecture from well-known personnel from industry, hospitals and academics

1) Examination pattern -Internal examination
Internal Examination (Theory)
I. The internal examinations conducted in the institute are known as Sessional Examinations. These examinations are conducted thrice in the academic year for theory as well as practical. These examinations carry 20 marks each for theory as well as for practical. At the end of academic year out of these three scores (for theory) best two are considered and average is calculated. This average is considered as Internal marks for the theory subject which is out of 20. This score (average out of 20) is sent to MSBTE as internal marks.

Internal Examination (Practical)
The same pattern followed for theory examination is followed for the practical subjects. The tentative schedule for practical examination is before 1 week of all three Sessional theory exams.
2) Examination pattern:- External examinations
External Examination (Theory & Practical)
I. The external (i.e. MSBTE Annual) examinations are conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education. These examinations are conducted annually in the academic year. The theory as well as practical annual examinations carries 80 marks (so total of 100 marks for individual theory as well as practical subjects).
